The one I'm using now (they offer various strengths and fragrances) is a 24-hour brand "Sport with extra protection" BUT I have found that its strength begins to deteriorate after a few hours of excessive sweating (like stressful days at the office, where I'm running around a lot). So, I think that for cold winter months it is fine but for hot, muggy summer months I might need to carry the product around with me and re-apply it as needed.
Of course, perspiration varies from person to person. Also, the climate in Vancouver is different than it is in T.O. so you might find you need a lighter formula with less protection for your B.C. summers. Anyhow, I say go for it :)Joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01883021740835234832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6404541131303036717.post-26354492461609454092008-03-29T12:51:00.000-04:002008-03-29T12:51:00.000-04:00formaldehyde? yikes!! so how has your experience w...formaldehyde? yikes!! so how has your experience with green beaver been? i'm so afraid to try new deodorants but i'm always sweaty :)kickpleathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06616267341650445312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6404541131303036717.post-67605619375814356282008-03-27T00:07:00.000-04:002008-03-27T00:07:00.000-04:00Laurie - You can probably order the book on Amazon...Laurie - You can probably order the book on Amazon. Mine is overdue as I have yet to return it to the library. I will be buying my own issue soon. I have already begun to apply some of the suggestions in the book to my daily routine.

As for "the" island - I think that generally in Greece the issue around garbage is a cultural one...if it isn't in "my" yard then who cares about the street or the neighbourhood being littered with garbage. My mother will be going to the island this summer and hasn't been there in 4 years. She is already preparing for the worst case scenario as the locals have a tendency to throw their garbage into our yard...my mom is already polishing her brass knuckles for the confrontation...LOL...just kidding- sort of :)Joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01883021740835234832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6404541131303036717.post-38926463031555301072008-03-26T22:49:00.000-04:002008-03-26T22:49:00.000-04:00This sounds like a great book and exactly like the...This sounds like a great book and exactly like the type of tips from which we'd all benefit. Glad to know about it, thanks. Now if we could just bring recycling to the island...or at least convince people to stop littering.Laurie Constantinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04662040688336742830noreply@blogger.com
